Uninstallation/Deactivation of UEM Console

Uninstallation of the UEM Console and Service Bus is currently not supported - The Apps can be hidden by removing the UEM license certificates.

 

By deactivating the UEM Modules all active parts of UUX for UEM are deactivated.

  • Enterprise Service Bus Settings:
    • Go to Administration -> Integration -> Enterprise Service Bus -> Settings
  • Deactivate the Service Bus.
  • Go to Administration -> Services & Processes -> Engine Activations.
  • Search for "UEM".
  • Disable all Engine Activations.

Empirum and Silverback

Deactivate Empirum

Empirum uses the Enterprise Service Bus for Depot synchronization and therefore the service is required. The communication related to UEM Console can be deactivated in DBUtil:

  1. Open DBUtil on the Empirum Server
  2. Select the desired Empirum location database and log in
  3. Select Install/Update services
  4. Select the Empirum-ServiceBus service
  5. Uncheck the setting "Enterprise Service Management Integration" and reinstall the service

Deactivate Silverback

Deactivate the communication with the UEM Console

  1. Log in as settings administrator
  2. Select the "Service Bus" setting
  3. Select the "Disabled" option
  4. Save
