As the Volume Purchase Program Token is valid for maximum one year, this article helps to quickly renew your Volume Purchase Program connection in Silverback every year by downloading and importing a new Token into the Management Console.
Download new Token
Apple Business Manager
- Open the Apple Business Manager
- Sign in with your administrative credentials
- In the top-right corner, click on your organization name and select Settings
- Navigate to Payments & Billing
- Under Content Tokens, locate your Server and press Download
- A new file will be downloaded: sToken_for_Silverback.vpptoken
- Proceed with Upload new Token
Apple School Manager
- Open the Apple School Manager
- Sign in with your administrative credentials
- Click on the bottom left on your account
- Select Preferences
- Click Payments and Billing
- Under Apps and Books and Content Tokens, locate your Server and press Download
- A new file will be downloaded: sToken_for_Silverback.vpptoken
- Proceed with Upload new Token
Upload new Token
- Open your Silverback Management Console
- Login as Administrator
- Navigate to Admin
- Navigate to Volume Purchase Program
- Click Choose File
- Select your previously downloaded Token: sToken_for_Silverback.vpptoken
- Press Save token
- Wait a couple of seconds
- Click Refresh
