M42 FastViewer WebConsole Adhoc is now available for On-Premise use.

The following steps are necessary to enable the feature:

1.  Download the package bundle for AdHoc deployment from portal.fastviewer.com → Download → Own Server Solution → Package Bundle for AdHoc Provision.
2. Extract the *.zip file into the root directory of the WebConferenceServer.
3. Add the following line to the settings.ini file, under the [Logging] section: PackagesUrl=https://yourserver.fastviewer.com/packages
4. Save and restart the server.

Option to skip autoupdate:

If you set this option, the instant autoupdate will not be enforced. It can be configured separately for remote sessions and instant sessions via settings.ini

Important Information

Configuration Adjustment for EntraID SSO Required. Applies to customers with:

• Their own Web Conference Server
• Entra ID SSO

Starting with this version, the dedicated STS server is no longer required. 

Communication has been improved for direct communication between the WebConference Server and EntraID.

Switching to the new authentication method is optional.

The following adjustments to settings.ini are needed for the switch:

NoAutoUpdate has been backported from the 4.3 server builds and is now available as 3.5 server update.

When enabled, automatic updates will no longer be enforced immediately.

The setting can be configured independently for remoted sessions and instant sessions using the settings.ini file.

• instant: disables autoupdate for instant (non-remoted) sessions
