The Move to Workspace action allows users to transfer an Activity from its current Workspace to a different one. This Action applies to all Activity types.
How to use it
Open the Activity you want to move and look for the Move to Workspace action. Clicking it opens a wizard.
In the wizard:
- Select a target Workspace - only active Workspaces you have access to are shown. Your current workspace is not available as a target.
- Select a Category from the target Workspace.
- Optionally leave a comment that will be added to the Activity's journal.

Once confirmed, the Activity is moved and a journal entry is automatically added, noting who moved it, from which Workspace, to which Workspace, and any comment provided.
What changes after the move
- The Activity is reassigned to the new Workspace and Category.
- The Responsible user and OLA are reset.
- SLA, Responsible Role, Reaction, and Solution points are recalculated based on the new Workspace (left empty if no matching configuration is found).
- An email notification is sent.
Attached Activities are not moved automatically - they remain in the original Workspace. The wizard will show a warning about this before you confirm.
