Overview
The SAP SF Holiday Data Provider enables automatic import of holiday data from SAP SuccessFactors into Matrix42. This guide explains how to install, configure, and enable the Matrix42 extension and connector. It is intended for administrators and users responsible for integrating systems using Matrix42 solutions.
Prerequisites
Before starting the configuration, ensure the following requirements are met:

SAP SuccessFactors Instance
A valid SAP SuccessFactors tenant must be available. -
API Authentication Key
You must have a valid API key to access the SAP API Business Hub services.
Installing the Extension
Before using the connector, install the extension.
To install the extension:
- Open the Administration application
- Navigate to: Extension Gallery
- Search for: SAP SF Holiday Data Provider
- Click Install
- Wait for completion
- Refresh the application
Adding and Enabling a Configuration
To create a configuration:
- Open Administration.
- Navigate to: Integration → Data Providers.
- Open SAP SF Holiday Import.
- Click Edit → Add Configuration.
- Add host name and API key. Make sure to enable the configuration.
To integrate with SAP SuccessFactors, use the following endpoint details:
Base URL: https://sandbox.api.sap.com/successfactorsfoundation
Host Name Rule: Enter only the domain part of the URL (without https://).
Example: For https://sandbox.api.sap.com/successfactorsfoundation, the Host Name must be sandbox.api.sap.com/successfactorsfoundation

Save and enable the connector.

Starting the Import
After enabling the configuration, trigger the import.
To start the import:
- Open SAP SF Import Connector.
- Click Activate.
Result:
After clicking Activate:
- The workflow SAP SF Connector Import is executed.
- Data is retrieved from SAP SuccessFactors.
- Holidays are imported into Matrix42.

You can monitor execution using Monitor Import – shows running jobs.
