Version 3.35.1876

Release Date: 24.07.2026

This version introduces AdHoc Sessions for macOS devices. These features are already available for Windows.

New Feature

AdHoc Launcher for macOS

What's new: You can now launch AdHoc sessions for macOS devices directly from the Web Console, ESMP extension, and self-hosted versions.

  • Desktop session support (initial release): only desktop connections are currently supported for macOS devices when launching AdHoc connections from the Web Console.
  • Permission guidance on first start: during the initial connection, users are prompted to grant the required macOS permissions for:
    • Accessibility
    • Screen Recording / System Audio
  • Filetransfer

Once all required permissions are granted, the session status is fully operational.

Why it matters: Support agents can now assist macOS users through AdHoc sessions launched straight from the Web Console, ESMP extension, and self-hosted versions, extending the same on-demand remote support workflow already available for other operating systems.

Impact: This adds macOS as a supported target for AdHoc connections; it does not change existing AdHoc behavior for other operating systems.

Prerequisites: Requires the updated AdHoc version and the corresponding macOS client component. The end user's macOS device must have the listed permissions (Accessibility, Screen Recording / System Audio, File transfer, Terminal/Bash) granted for full functionality.

Responsibilities: The permission prompts are triggered automatically on first connection. The macOS end user is responsible for actively granting the requested permissions when prompted.
